Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met Governor of the Central Bank of Iran Dr Abdolnaser Hemmati and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the two sides, in a sideline meeting held during the Islamabad talks, stressed the importance of sustained dialogue.
Both parties agreed that peace and stability in the region remain essential for economic cooperation and shared progress.
Earlier, few days back, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad, where both sides discussed efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region.
During the meeting, Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy as key tools for resolving regional issues. He reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to peaceful negotiations and constructive engagement with all stakeholders to ensure long-term stability.
