Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir presided over the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) at General Headquarters (GHQ), paying tribute to the martyrs of the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians who laid down their lives defending the nation.
The Forum emphasized that their sacrifices remain the foundation of Pakistan’s national security.
The CDF expressed satisfaction with the Pakistan Armed Forces, commending their professionalism, operational effectiveness, and commitment to both national defense and intelligence-led counter-terrorism operations.
He highlighted that through the combined efforts of the government, military, and citizens, Pakistan continues to consolidate security achievements, bolster economic resilience, and enhance its regional and global standing.
During the meeting, the Forum conducted a thorough review of Pakistan’s internal and external security environment. It reiterated that all terrorist networks, operating under Indian and other foreign sponsorships, along with their facilitators, will be pursued relentlessly.
The pace of Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq will continue until terrorist sanctuaries are eliminated and the use of Afghan soil for attacks against Pakistan is completely neutralized.
The Forum also lauded the government’s efforts to resolve conflicts in the Middle East through diplomacy, calling for restraint, dialogue, and de-escalation, while reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to constructive engagement as a responsible regional stakeholder.
The recent attacks on Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical and industrial facilities were strongly condemned, with the Forum noting that such provocations threaten ongoing peace efforts and undermine diplomatic initiatives.
Furthermore, the Forum rejected disinformation campaigns and false narratives attributed to India, highlighting international discredit of such tactics. It expressed concern over ongoing human rights violations and extrajudicial killings in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Concluding the conference, the field marshal directed commanders to maintain the highest levels of operational readiness, professionalism, and adaptability, expressing confidence in the Armed Forces’ capability to counter all threats and safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
