President Asif Ali Zardari chaired a high-level meeting in Larkana, bringing together key federal and provincial leaders. The discussions centered on security, the economy, and rising petroleum prices, with a strong emphasis on public relief.
President Zardari met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik at Bhutto House No. 1 in Larkana.
The meeting was also attended by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Faryal Talpur, and Provincial Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah.
Participants discussed the overall law and order situation in the country, along with the prevailing economic conditions. The meeting also focused on the energy sector and the impact of petroleum product prices on the public.
Mohsin Naqvi briefed the president on ongoing anti-terrorism operations across the country. He also provided an update on the border security situation, including developments related to Pakistan’s frontiers.
Pak-Afghan tensions, regional challenges
