President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Iran respects neighbouring and brotherly countries and values their leadership.
In a message posted on X, said the heads of brotherly and neighbouring states made full diplomatic efforts to avert war.

President Pezeshkian said American and Zionist military aggression left Iran with no option but to defend itself. He added that Iran holds the leadership of neighbouring and brotherly countries in high regard.
He said regional security and stability can only be ensured through joint efforts by all parties.
