Former international umpire Aleem Dar has resigned from Pakistan’s national selection committee, becoming the first member to step down following the team’s recent disappointing performances, according to sources.
Sources said Dar submitted his resignation in response to concerns over the national side’s declining results, signaling growing pressure on team management and selectors.
His departure marks the first major change within the selection setup amid scrutiny of Pakistan’s recent on-field struggles. No official statement has yet been issued regarding a replacement or further changes within the committee.
