A district and sessions court in Islamabad declared former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur a proclaimed offender in a liquor and arms recovery case due to his repeated failure to appear before the court.
The court also issued arrest warrants for Gandapur. The oral order was announced during the hearing presided over by Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti.
According to court records, the case against the former chief minister is registered at Bara Kahu police station. Despite multiple notices, Gandapur did not appear before the court, prompting the magistrate to declare him a proclaimed offender.
Further proceedings in the case have been adjourned, while law enforcement authorities have been directed to execute the arrest warrants and submit a compliance report to the court.
