Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited on Monday the Bangladesh High Commission to offer condolences on the passing of Khaleda Zia - former prime minister of Bangladesh and Chairperson of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.
During his visit, the prime minister conveyed sympathies to the Charge d’Affaires for the departed leader.
He also recorded a message in the condolence book, expressing grief over the loss of a visionary political figure.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, speaking on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan, extended condolences to the family of the late leader and prayed for her highest place in Jannah.
He emphasized the lasting impact of Khaleda Zia’s political contributions and her unwavering commitment to the people of Bangladesh.
The PM was accompanied by Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi during the visit.
