Earlier, it was reported that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested four officers of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), including former Additional Director Sarfaraz Chaudhry, on charges of bribery and misuse of authority.
According to FIA sources, the arrests were made following a case registered on the complaint of Arob Jatoi wife of YouTuber Saadur Rahman- also known as Ducky Bhai. The accused officers are currently in FIA custody and will be presented before the Lahore District Court today.
The First Information Report (FIR) reveals that a total of Rs9 million was allegedly received from YouTuber Ducky’s family as a bribe to secure relief in a case.
