The price of gold saw another big surge in both global and Pakistani markets on Wednesday, a day after seeing stability in the rates.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,300 per tola, reaching Rs438,862, as global rates rose amid steady investor demand.
The price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs1,972 to Rs376,253, according to the APSGJA.

The price of 10g of 22-karat gold increased by Rs1,808 to reach Rs344,911.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $23 per ounce to settle at $4,165. The uptick reflects sustained global interest in precious metals amid economic uncertainty and shifting currency trends.
Silver followed a similar trajectory, with the price per tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs60 to Rs5,482. The price of 10 grammes of 24k silver hiked by Rs51 to be sold for Rs4,699.
