The University of the Punjab has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lahore-based Programmer Force to leverage its advanced recording studio facilities.
This collaboration aims to strengthen the University’s Open and Distance Learning programs by enhancing the production of academic course content.
Under the MoU, Programmer Force will provide the University with access to its fully equipped recording studio. The facilities include recording equipment and cameraman support, ensuring high-quality video production for academic courses. University faculty and staff will be allowed on-site during recording sessions to facilitate the creation of course content.
The University will receive raw recorded video files and will manage all post-production activities, including editing, packaging, and publishing. Proper acknowledgment of Programmer Force’s support in the course materials will also be ensured.
Roles and responsibilities
Programmer Force:

Provide access to the studio as per agreed schedules.

Maintain functional, well-equipped facilities suitable for educational content recording.

Support University personnel during recording sessions.
University of the Punjab:

Schedule recording sessions in coordination with Programmer Force.

Manage final editing and production of recorded content.

Ensure responsible use of studio facilities and credit Programmer Force appropriately.
Duration and financial terms
The MoU is effective for one year from the date of signing and can be extended through mutual agreement. It does not create any financial obligations unless specifically agreed upon in a separate written arrangement. Future cost-sharing or service charges will be negotiated separately.
Both parties have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information shared during the collaboration. The MoU is a statement of intent and is not legally binding. Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ written notice, and any amendments require mutual written consent.
