The body of notorious gangster Khwaja Tareef Gulshan, alias Teefi Butt, was brought to Lahore on Sunday after being handed over to his family by Rahim Yar Khan police.
According to police officials, the body was transported to his residence in Naseerabad, Lahore, following a postmortem examination conducted earlier in Rahim Yar Khan.

The handover was carried out under police supervision, with a Crime Control Department (CCD) team also accompanying the process to ensure security.
Heavy police presence was reported in the area as the body arrived in Lahore, where large crowds gathered outside the Teefi Butt’s home.

Earlier on Saturday, Teefi Butt, the prime suspect in the Ameer Balaj murder case, was killed during an alleged police encounter near Ahmedpur Lama Road in Rahim Yar Khan.
Police sources said Butt was being transported to Lahore for investigation when two of his close associates ambushed the police convoy and opened fire, resulting in his death on the spot. The attackers reportedly managed to escape.
