Two police officers were martyred and three others injured on Tuesday in an alleged terrorist attack on the security force posted at an oil and gas company in Darazinda area of Dera Ismail Khan.
Following the attack, additional force was called in for assistance as the search for the culprits was going on.
DSP Asghar Ali Shah said the injured were shifted to the DHQ Hospital, while the condition of one of the wounded officials was critical.
The DSP claimed that the police force posted at the company camp had been targeted. He said an additional force was sent to the attack location, as the search for the assailants continued.
