The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast a new spell of rain to begin tonight across the upper and plain regions of the country.
According to the department, rain is likely in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad and Punjab this evening. Heavy rain and hailstorm have also been forecast at some locations.
Intermittent rain is expected in various areas until October 7.
The rain may disrupt daily life and cause damage to weak infrastructure, mud houses, fragile walls, electricity poles, billboards, vehicles and solar panels.
