The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has intensified preparations for the resumption of flight operations to the United Kingdom.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, applications have been invited for the provision of hotel services for PIA staff in Manchester. The airline is arranging accommodation for captains, engineers and air hostesses stationed in the city.
Interested parties have been asked to submit applications by 3 November. Applications will be directed to the General Manager Procurement, the PIA Supply Chain Department.
It is pertinent to note that last week, the PIA has received permission to resume flights to the UK. Following this development, the airline began planning to restart operational activities without delay.
