Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha boycotted the post-match ceremony after the Indian team declined to shake hands with Pakistani players following the match.
Reports revealed that Salman Ali Agha also refused to speak with an Indian commentator during the event. Sources divulged that had the host been Pakistani, Salman Ali Agha would have attended the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Pakistani coach Mike Hesson termed the Indian team’s conduct as unsportsmanlike. He confirmed Salman Ali Agha’s protest by not appearing before the Indian presenter.
The Pakistan team management lodged a complaint with the match referee concerning the Indian team’s behaviour.
