The cellular mobile operators (CMOs) overall met the required standards for download and upload speeds, according to the the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
The PTA has released its Quality of Service (QoS) survey, which was conducted in 18 cities during the first quarter of 2026. It reviewed mobile network coverage, voice calls, SMS services and mobile broadband services.
Moreover, the PTA field teams used advanced automated monitoring and benchmarking tools during the survey. The purpose of the survey was to assess cellular operators' compliance with regulatory service quality standards, the PTA said.
