Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz dedicated the 78th Independence Day of Pakistan to Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif, the armed forces and the country’s political leadership.
During a ceremony held at the unveiling of the "Marka-e-Haq Memorial Park", CM Maryam said: "Now, there shall be a war against mischief and disorder.
"We shall surely win this war," she added.
She said that this year’s Independence Day held a unique sense of pride and significance for the nation.
