The price of gold in Pakistan climbed on Wednesday, with the 24-karat rate hitting Rs358,100 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA).
Silver rates also saw an upward trend, reflecting similar movements in the international market.
As per APSGJA, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs200 per tola, reaching Rs358,100.
The 10-gram rate for the same purity increased to Rs307,013, up by Rs171. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold was priced at Rs281,438 per 10 grams, showing an increase of Rs157.
International gold trends remain cautious
On the global front, gold was trading at $2,354 per ounce, registering a marginal rise of $2.
Market analysts suggest that uncertainty in global economic conditions continues to influence the bullion market, with investors keeping a close watch on U.S. economic data and geopolitical developments.
Silver prices also on the rise
Silver prices in Pakistan gained momentum, with 24-karat silver increasing by Rs59 to Rs4,072 per tola.
The 10-gram price stood at Rs3,491, up by Rs51. In the international market, silver was valued at $38.39 per ounce, marking an increase of $0.59.
