A local court in Pakpattan has granted bail to Musa Maneka, who was arrested in a firing incident at the outhouse of his father, Khawar Farid Maneka, after the plaintiff failed to identify him as the shooter.
During the court hearing, the complainant submitted an affidavit stating that Musa Maneka, the son of Khawar and former first lady Bushra Bibi, was mistakenly named in the case and was not the person who opened fire.
According to the affidavit, the actual assailant had been wearing a mask at the time of the shooting, making it difficult to confirm their identity.
The complainant further confessed that Musa Maneka did not fire any shots and that his name was taken in error. He added that he would have no objection if the court decided to either grant bail or acquit the accused.
