The spell of torrential rain accompanied by strong winds has come to an end in Lahore.
According to official records, the highest rainfall was recorded in Nishtar Town, where 25 millimetres fell. At the airport, rainfall reached 20 millimetres.
In Mughalpura and Pani Wala Talab, 18 millimetres of rain was recorded. Firdous Market reported 23 millimetres, while Tajpura recorded 20 millimetres.
Lakshmi Chowk received 16 millimetres of rainfall. Upper Mall recorded 13 millimetres, and WASA Head Office in Gulberg reported 12 millimetres.
In Iqbal Town, rainfall reached 11 millimetres; Samanabad received 9 millimetres, and Johar Town registered 6 millimetres.
Jail Road recorded 5.2 millimetres, and Qurtaba Chowk received 4 millimetres of rainfall.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the average rainfall across Lahore was measured at 13.6 millimetres.
