DHA torture case victim Dheeraj appeared before the Karachi City Court and told the court that he was unaware that an FIR had been registered in the case and only learned about it through social media.
Dheeraj further stated that he does not wish to pursue the case.
Meanwhile, the suspects Salman Farooqi and Owais Hashmi, who are allegedly involved in the incident where a private company owner was suspected of assaulting a citizen in Karachi’s Defence area, were presented before the court. After the hearing, the court ordered that both suspects be sent to jail.
Strict security measures were observed during the proceedings, with police, lawyers, and the suspects' associates forming a protective circle around the suspect while escorting them back.
