Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan, said on Tuesday that Imran Khan is ready to hold talks with the establishment whenever they are willing.
Speaking to the media after meeting her brother at Adiala Jail, Aleema Khan declined to comment on the Army Chief General Asim Munir being elevated to the rank of Field Marshal, saying, “It’s better if we don’t speak on that.”
She conveyed Imran Khan’s message that he is open to dialogue with the establishment in the interest of Pakistan, but ruled out any possibility of negotiations with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Aleema added that the PTI founder believes justice has been buried following the 26th Constitutional Amendment, and he has urged the public to raise their voice against the amendment.
