Havaldar Aqeel Ahmad, a soldier from Okara district, was martyred on June 21, 2024, during an anti-terrorist operation in the Sada area of Kurram district. The Pakistan Army soldier leaves behind his mother, wife, and two children.
Family members of the deceased soldier shared their thoughts on his martyrdom. His mother recalled Aqeel's lifelong desire to join the Pakistan Army and attain martyrdom. She expressed her readiness to sacrifice her other three sons for the nation if needed.
Aqeel's wife described him as a loving husband and father, stating that his absence is deeply felt. She plans to educate their son to join the army, following in his father's footsteps. The martyr's siblings echoed similar sentiments, mentioning Aqeel's childhood aspirations to serve and sacrifice for the country.
The soldier's son remembered his father as brave and expressed his intention to honor Aqeel's legacy by serving the nation in the future.
