Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson said Pakistan has no program for talks with the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The FO spokesperson said that TTP has carried out many acts of terrorism from Afghan soil and emphasized that the Afghan government should take action against the groups and individuals involved in the bloodshed of the Pakistani people, including the TTP.
It also said that the decision to recognize the Afghan government will be made in consultation with regional partners.
The government of Pakistan has no contact with the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban, nor will there be any kind of negotiations with them.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said categorically in the weekly briefing. She said that Pakistan has repeatedly raised the issue of using Afghan land against Pakistan.
“The presence of terrorist groups, Fitna Khawarij, in Afghanistan has been proven by many international organizations including the United Nations,” she added.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that intelligence information on terrorism has also been provided to Afghanistan.
FO spokesperson said Pakistan could not release information regarding intelligence sharing between Pakistan and Afghanistan on terrorism. There are multiple communication channels for sharing evidence on terrorism.
MOFA spokesperson said Afghan government should take action against the groups and individuals involved in the bloodshed in Pakistan.
In response to a question, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that our position on recognizing the Afghan interim government is already clear.
Baloch condemned the incidents of terrorism in Balochistan and clarified that the Pakistani government is determined to protect its citizens.
