After Eidul Fitr, the opposition is gearing up for a unified movement against the ruling coalition.
As per sources, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan has reportedly expressed his desire for Maulana Fazlur Rehman of the JUI-F to join the anti-government movement. He has also tasked important leaders within the party, such as Asad Qaiser, Barrister Gohar, and Omar Ayub, with engaging in discussions with the Maulana regarding collaboration in the movement.
Post-Eid, Maulana Fazlur Rehman's party, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F), is expected to play a pivotal role in spearheading the anti-government efforts, as per sources within the opposition.
A meeting of the opposition leaders, including Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Akhtar Mengal, Asad Qaiser, Barrister Gohar, Omar Ayub, and others, is slated to take place with Maulana Fazlur Rehman promptly after Eidul Fitr.
Discussions during this meeting are expected to focus on extending an offer to Maulana Fazl to spearhead the opposition alliance against the movement.
Moreover, talks are also underway regarding the inclusion of Sindh's nationalist parties in the opposition alliance, indicating a broadening of the anti-government front.
Ahead of Eid, a meeting among opposition leaders is scheduled to be held in Islamabad to strategize and coordinate their protest movement and its TORs.
