Iran executed a man on Saturday who had been sentenced to death for collaborating with Israel's intelligence services, according to the judiciary.
The execution took place in Zahedan prison in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchistan.
The individual, whose identity was not disclosed, was convicted of intelligence cooperation and espionage for Israel.
Additionally, he was found guilty of collecting and providing classified information to the Mossad spy service to disrupt public order, as per Mizan Online.
The details of the man's arrest and trial remain unclear. Iran has previously announced the arrests of alleged agents working for foreign countries, particularly Israel.
In December 2022, the country hanged four individuals convicted of collaborating with Israel's intelligence services.
