The Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) have rescued all 20 Pakistani crew members of a cargo boat that sank near Ormara in a successful rescue operation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Navy and PMSA carried out the rescue operation and safely recovered the crew members of the cargo boat, which sank in the open sea near Ormara.
The boat met with an accident 32 nautical miles south of Ormara. Following information from the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre, PNS Hunain, a Pakistan Navy Sea King helicopter and a PMSA Defender vessel took part in the joint rescue operation.
ISPR said all crew members were safely rescued and were being provided with initial medical assistance. The timely and effective response highlighted the professional capabilities of Pakistan Navy once again.
