A Lahore sessions court has granted interim pre-arrest bail to YouTuber and TikToker Ali Hyderabadi in a case involving allegations of wife abuse. The court directed him to cooperate with police and join the investigation.
An additional sessions judge in Lahore approved Ali Hyderabadi’s interim bail plea on Tuesday. The court restrained police from arresting him until July 14, the date fixed for the next hearing.
Former Lahore Bar Association president Rana Intizar appeared in court on behalf of Ali Hyderabadi. He argued that his client was ready to join the investigation but feared imminent arrest by police.
Intizar requested the court to grant interim bail so the accused could cooperate with investigators.
Police ordered not to arrest Ali Hyderabadi
After hearing the arguments, the court accepted the plea and ordered Ali Hyderabadi to join the investigation. The court also directed police not to arrest him until July 14.
A case has been registered against Ali Hyderabadi at Sundar Police Station in Lahore over allegations that he subjected his wife to physical abuse.
Police have launched an investigation into the domestic violence allegations.
Allegations on social media
The case gained public attention after videos and claims linked to the couple circulated widely on social media.
Earlier, Ali Hyderabadi’s ex-wife, Zainab Ali, posted an emotional video in which she made serious allegations against him. She alleged that Hyderabadi had threatened her several times during and after their relationship, including threats to have her killed, claiming he had influential connections.
She also spoke about the hardships she said she faced during the marriage and appealed to police for justice and protection.
Divorce video also drew attention
Ali Hyderabadi, a Pakistani social media personality, had previously gained attention for sharing photos and videos with Zainab Ali that portrayed a happy married life.
A recent video showing Ali Hyderabadi divorcing Zainab also went viral, raising questions among viewers about why such a private moment was recorded and shared online.
The matter remains under investigation.
