Saudi Arabia has launched the pilot phase of its new Package Visa, allowing eligible international travellers to obtain a visa as part of a complete travel package that combines flights, accommodation and visa processing in one seamless booking.
The initiative is being introduced through certified travel and tourism operators in selected international markets before a broader global rollout.
Saudi launches integrated travel system
The new Package Visa simplifies travel planning by enabling visitors to arrange flights, hotel bookings and entry permits through a single platform instead of using separate services.
Travellers can also add event tickets, local attractions and tourism experiences to their itinerary during the booking process.
Tourism minister highlights benefits
Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al Khateeb said the initiative reflects the Kingdom's commitment to making travel more convenient as its tourism sector continues to expand.
He said integrating visa issuance with travel bookings simplifies the visitor journey, strengthens cooperation across the tourism sector and enhances Saudi Arabia's appeal as a global destination.
Part of broader tourism strategy
The Package Visa builds on previous initiatives, including the tourist e-Visa, Visa on Arrival and Stopover Transit Visa, aimed at making travel to the Kingdom more accessible.
Saudi Arabia welcomed more than 29 million international visitors in 2025, reflecting rapid growth in its tourism sector.
The new service is currently available only through qualified travel operators that meet strict service standards and provide round-the-clock customer support to travellers.
Officials say the system will help travel companies create more competitive packages while encouraging longer tourist stays.
