President Asif Ali Zardari has called for stronger bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan, urging both countries to increase direct flights and deepen cooperation in trade, industry and regional peace.
He made the remarks during delegation-level talks with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov during his official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
President Zardari said Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan enjoy historical and brotherly relations based on shared beliefs, history and cultural links.
He expressed Pakistan's desire to elevate bilateral relations by expanding cooperation in trade, industry and other areas of mutual interest.
Call for more flights
The president stressed the need to improve connectivity between the two countries by increasing the number of direct flights.
He said enhanced air links would help strengthen people-to-people contacts and facilitate greater economic cooperation.
President Zardari said Pakistan is committed to working with Kyrgyzstan to promote regional peace and sustainable development.
He expressed hope that both countries would contribute to creating a more peaceful environment for future generations.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening brotherly relations with Pakistan and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.
The two leaders also held delegation-level talks on issues of mutual interest.
