Kensington Palace has shared a heartfelt message from Kate Middleton following the Princess of Wales' visit to a London children's hospital, as fresh reports surrounding Prince Harry's UK stay continue to attract public attention.
The palace released the message after Harry's spokesperson expressed disappointment over reports that an accommodation offer at a royal residence had been withdrawn.
Kate visited Evelina London Children's Hospital, where she serves as patron, to learn about plans aimed at expanding specialist healthcare services for children.
During the visit, she met patients, families and healthcare staff, highlighting the hospital's work in providing family-centred care.
Kensington Palace shares heartfelt message
Following the visit, Kensington Palace posted photographs and a video of the Princess spending time with young patients.
The palace said the visit highlighted "specialist expertise, compassionate care and family-centred support" for children and their families, while praising the hospital's plans for future healthcare facilities.
The palace's update came as Prince Harry's spokesperson criticised what they described as the withdrawal of an accommodation offer at a royal residence ahead of his UK visit.
According to the spokesperson, Harry accepted the offer after making alternative security arrangements, but was later informed that it had been withdrawn.
Buckingham Palace responds
A Buckingham Palace official disputed that account, saying the Duke of Sussex had missed the deadline to accept the accommodation offer and only confirmed after arrangements could no longer be made.
The palace has not commented further on the matter.
