Renowned religious scholar Allama Nasir Madni was shifted from the radiology department to a ward of the cardiology hospital after his condition deteriorated during a Friday prayer sermon in Jahanian.
Hospital sources said his condition is now stable, but he will remain under observation for some time.
According to reports, Allama Nasir Madni suddenly fell ill while delivering a Friday prayer sermon in Jahanian. He fainted during the speech, after which security personnel immediately shifted him to THQ Hospital for medical assistance.
First aid provided at THQ Hospital
Doctors provided first aid to Allama Nasir Madni and continued treatment under medical supervision. Reports initially said his condition was critical and that a team of doctors was treating him.

Shifted to cardiology hospital
Allama Nasir Madni was later shifted to a cardiology hospital in Multan after reportedly suffering a heart attack during the speech. He was moved for immediate medical attention as doctors continued monitoring his health.
Hospital sources said Madni’s condition is now fine. He has been shifted from the radiology department to the ward and will remain in hospital for some time as a precaution.
