The price of gold in the global market and Pakistan saw another massive hike on Friday for the second consecutive day.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan surged by a massive Rs12,200, reaching Rs440,936 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs10,459, taking it to Rs378,031. The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold also hiked by Rs9,588 to be sold for Rs346,541.

International gold prices
In the international market also, the price of gold per ounce has hiked by $122 to reach $4,185 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the same trend, with the price of 24-karat silver per tola hiking by Rs319 to reach Rs6,764 in Pakistan. Similarly, the price of 10g of 24-karat silver also increased by Rs274 to Rs5,799.
