Meta has entered the gaming space with the launch of a new application called Pocket.
The app allows users to create small interactive games and applications through artificial intelligence prompts.
The software follows Meta’s acquisition of a team from the vibe-coded gaming platform Gizmo earlier this year.
Pocket describes itself as a creative platform for making and sharing “gizmos”, the name given to its interactive experiences.
The application also includes a scrollable feed where users may play with creations made by others.
Screenshots from Google Play indicate strong similarities between Pocket and Gizmo’s original application, which remains available.
Like Pocket, Gizmo enabled users to build interactive experiences through written AI prompts and featured a discovery feed.
Alessandro Paluzzi, a reverse engineer known for identifying unreleased features, first reported the app’s appearance and shared a Play Store screenshot on X.
Appfigures data suggests Pocket first appeared on App Store and Google Play on 29 June 2026, though download figures remain unclear due to its recent release.
Meta has not issued a comment regarding the application.
Reports on the discovery have also appeared in other outlets, including Business Insider and Investing.com.
The company has been expanding its artificial intelligence tools across multiple products, including image generation in Meta AI and video creation features in Vibes.
The Edits application has also been updated with AI-based tools for content creators.
Analysts note that Pocket appears to remain in an early experimental stage.
Gizmo, its predecessor platform, recorded 635,000 lifetime installs across iOS and Google Play, with Appfigures reporting a 98 per cent positive sentiment.
