The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has officially ended the work-from-home arrangement for government offices on Fridays, restoring the day as a regular working day for all provincial departments.
The decision was approved during the provincial cabinet meeting held in Peshawar on Monday and has now been formalized through an official notification.
According to the notification, Friday will now be observed as a normal official working day in all government offices across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The provincial government has directed all departments and offices to ensure regular attendance of employees on Fridays.
Cabinet approves decision
The move follows a decision taken during the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet meeting held in Peshawar a day earlier.
With the new directive, the previous work-from-home arrangement for Fridays has officially come to an end, and government employees are expected to report to their respective offices as per the regular schedule.
Depts instructed to ensure compliance
The notification instructs all government departments to implement the revised policy and ensure that attendance on Fridays is maintained in line with normal office procedures.
The latest decision is aimed at restoring routine operations across provincial government offices by ending the remote working arrangement that had been in place on Fridays.
