Mobile phone services will remain suspended in several cities and sensitive areas on the 9th and 10th of Muharram as authorities implement security measures for mourning processions.
The suspension includes full and partial restrictions on mobile networks, phone signals and internet services in different parts of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Mobile phone service will remain suspended in Dadu on the 9th and 10th of Muharram. In Shahdadkot, mobile network service has also been suspended in the city and its surrounding areas.
Partial suspension in Quetta, Peshawar
In Quetta, mobile phone service has been partially suspended in various areas of the city. Peshawar is also facing partial suspension of mobile services, including in the city and Saddar areas.
Authorities said mobile service will remain closed around mourning processions and nearby areas as part of security and traffic arrangements.
Internet, signals suspended in Jhal Magsi
In Jhal Magsi, mobile phone signals and internet service have been suspended in Gandawa.
The restrictions are part of precautionary measures during Muharram to ensure public safety and maintain security around processions and gatherings.
