He stressed that the consequences of further escalation may prove “intolerable” not only for the region but for the wider world.

He said that a “just solution” to the conflict appears within reach, and warned that any further escalation could derail ongoing diplomatic progress.
Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also highlighted Pakistan’s active diplomatic role, stating that Islamabad is working closely with “brotherly countries and partners” to support a peaceful resolution.
He appealed to all sides to avoid further violence and instead pursue dialogue, saying that peace efforts carry “bright prospects of success.”
