Security forces killed 11 militants linked to the Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij during intelligence-based operations carried out at various locations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the past 48 hours.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were conducted in Datta Khel and districts of North Waziristan.
The slain militants were involved in several incidents, including murder and kidnapping, in the area. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from their possession.
A spokesperson for the Pakistan Army said sanitisation operations were continuing in view of the possible presence of more Khariji militants in the area.
The spokesperson added that operations would continue until the elimination of Indian-sponsored terrorism.
