Pakistan has strongly condemned the action by Israeli forces in stopping the Global Sumud Flotilla.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi has stated that the interception of the vessel and the detention of social activists was unlawful.
According to the Foreign Office, such an operation in international waters constitutes a clear violation of international law. Officials said that among those detained is Pakistani social activist Saad Edhi, with reports of alleged mistreatment also emerging.
Pakistan has called for the immediate release of all detained activists and has appealed to the international community to ensure the protection of their safety, dignity and fundamental rights.
The Foreign Office stated that the situation is being closely monitored through Pakistani diplomatic missions. The Pakistan mission in Jordan is making efforts for the release of Saad Edhi.
