German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has said he would not advise children to live or study in the United States under the present circumstances.
In his statement, the German chancellor said the social environment in the United States was changing rapidly, giving rise to several concerns regarding residence and education there. According to Friedrich Merz, employment opportunities for highly educated people in the United States were also becoming limited, while Germany was providing better and more stable opportunities for young people.
