English actor Sacha Baron Cohen is preparing for a major on-screen comeback following his divorce from actress Isla Fisher.
The 54-year-old star will soon appear in a new Netflix film, marking his first project since the couple officially ended their 14-year marriage in June 2025.
Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher finalized their divorce in June 2025, more than a year after announcing their separation in April 2024.
The former couple shares three children — daughters Olive and Elula, and son Montgomery.
Cohen’s return to acting will come through an upcoming Netflix movie titled Ladies First.
The film is described as a gender-swap satire and will also feature actress Rosamund Pike in a leading role.
Directed by Thea Sharrock, the 91-minute R-rated comedy is based on the French film Je ne suis pas un homme facile (I Am Not an Easy Man).
The story follows Damien Sachs, a powerful advertising executive played by Cohen, who enjoys wealth and influence but shows little respect toward women.
After a turning point in his life, he wakes up in a parallel world where gender roles are reversed and women dominate society.
First project after personal change
Ladies First will be Sacha Baron Cohen’s first film project since his divorce from Isla Fisher.
Industry reports suggest the movie will highlight his return to satirical comedy, a genre he is widely known for.
The Netflix film is scheduled to release on May 22, 2026.
