Following peace talks, the metro bus service in Rawalpindi has been restored, while goods transport and the city’s entry and exit routes have also been reopened for traffic.
Security arrangements imposed in connection with the United States-Iran peace negotiations have been relaxed in Rawalpindi, after which normal life has begun to resume.
The metro bus service operating between Rawalpindi and Islamabad, along with e-buses running on various routes within Rawalpindi, has been reinstated for the convenience of passengers.
Public service transport that had been suspended across the city has also been permitted to operate. However, Faizabad and Pirwadhai General Bus Stand will remain closed until further notice.
