Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell drew upon his vast experience to guide Hyderabad Kingsmen to a commanding 108-run victory over Rawalpindiz, securing a place in the playoffs and knocking Lahore Qalandars out of the tournament at the Karachi stadium on Sunday.
Kingsmen amassed a formidable 244 for six in their allotted 20 overs, with Maxwell striking a brisk 70, while Kusal Perera remained unbeaten on 50 and Usman Khan added a rapid 54.

In reply, Rawalpindiz faltered under sustained pressure and were dismissed for 136 in 17.1 overs, despite a lone effort from Usman Khawaja, who made 66 not out.
Hunain Shah led the bowling attack with four wickets, while Akif Javed claimed three, as Kingsmen sealed their progress with a comprehensive win.
With this result, Hyderabad Kingsmen joined Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans and Islamabad United in the playoffs of the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League.
