The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has introduced a new and modern website, offering identity services in a more organised and user-friendly manner.
According to details surfaced on Friday, all services, including identity cards, Nicop, POC and FRC, have been brought together on a single platform. Registration data and statistics are now presented through the nGRIDS system in the form of maps, while a comparative review of census and registration at the district level has also been made available.
A map gallery has been introduced to support research activities and planning. National and provincial data, along with emerging trends, are accessible on the website, while an integrated system for the registration of births, deaths, marriages and divorces has been highlighted.
Verification services for banking, telecom and government institutions have been consolidated. The call centre, IVR and email support have been made more effective, while the complaint registration and redressal system has been further strengthened. The Nadra career portal has been upgraded and the online application process simplified.
Comprehensive information and guidance regarding the Nadra network across the country and abroad are available in one place, including details of registration centres and mobile registration vans. Sections on the Right to Information and the media centre have also been developed along modern lines.
