Pakistan has rejected Indian allegations regarding the Pahalgam incident, describing them as baseless and propaganda, the Foreign Office spokesperson said.
In a statement, the spokesperson said Pakistan continues diplomatic efforts for peace and stability in the region and beyond, and termed India’s conduct regrettable. He said India is promoting a false narrative against Pakistan for domestic political purposes.
The spokesperson added that such allegations form part of India’s longstanding strategy and are intended to divert attention from its own activities in the region.
He said Indian propaganda cannot distract the international community from the situation in occupied Kashmir. He said India’s provocative statements and measures, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, are harming regional peace, and urged the international community to press India to adopt a responsible approach and refrain from actions that undermine peace efforts.
