Yorkshire County Cricket Club have secured the services of Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali for the upcoming season.
Ali will feature for Yorkshire in the Vitality Blast after being named as a replacement for the injured Naveen-ul-Haq. The Pakistani pacer will also be available for selection in County Championship matches.
Yorkshire’s general manager, Gavin Hamilton, stated that Ali will be a valuable addition to the squad. He added that Ali’s experience will play an important role for the team.
Ali has previously represented Lancashire and Warwickshire in English county cricket. He is expected to bring pace and experience to Yorkshire’s bowling attack at Headingley this summer.
