Hyderabad Kingsmen secured a four-wicket victory over Karachi Kings in a Pakistan Super League match at the National Stadium, Karachi, on Saturday.
Chasing 189, Hyderabad Kingsmen reached the target in 19.1 overs, finishing on 189 for 6. Hassan Khan remained unbeaten on 33 off 16 balls, providing a late surge in the closing stages of the innings.
Irfan Khan also contributed with a composed unbeaten 29 off 20 deliveries as the chase was completed.
Karachi Kings posted 188 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs after a strong batting effort led by Saad Baig, who made 53.
Moeen Ali scored a rapid 44 off 16 balls, while Muhammad Waseem and Salman Agha added useful runs at the top order.
Hunain Shah took three wickets for 19 runs, while Mohammad Ali also claimed two wickets for Karachi Kings.
Hyderabad Kingsmen recovered from early setbacks to complete their first win of the tournament in the derby fixture.
