The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has commenced a red-ball camp at the National Cricket Academy to improve players’ skills.
According to details that emerged on Friday, the NCA red-ball camp is under way in Lahore. The players took part in initial one-to-one sessions with coaches over the first two days before joining outdoor practice.
The camp is intended to prepare players for the forthcoming red-ball season.
“We will remain focused on players’ improvement and development until September,” said Director of High Performance Aaqib Javed.
Bringing together players from various domestic teams helps to better assess talent, said Aaqib Javed.
“This camp provides both selectors and players with an opportunity to evaluate their abilities,” he added.
