The Cricket New South Wales (NSW) has taken note of an alleged drink-driving incident involving Sydney Thunder captain David Warner.
According to details surfaced on Wednesday, the incident occurred on Saturday night, and NSW Police have registered a case. Cricket NSW is a strong advocate for safe driving, said CEO Lee Germon.
Germon maintained that the incidents such as drink-driving are treated with the utmost seriousness. David Warner is fully aware of the gravity of the allegations.
"Full support will be provided to Warner throughout the legal process. The measures will be taken to raise awareness among all players about the importance of safe driving, Cricket NSW stated.
