The price of gold and silver in global market and Pakistan dropped again for the third consecutive day.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by a massive Rs8,700, bringing the new rate to Rs524,562, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs7,459, settling at Rs449,727. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also declined by Rs6,838 to be sold for Rs412,264.

International gold prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by $87, reaching $5,018 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Silver prices also followed the trend. The price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs310 to Rs8,541, while 10 grams of silver also decreased by Rs266 to be sold for Rs7,322.
